Houma Nation's Appeal for Donations and Assistance

We're passing along this note from the Houma Nation as an appeal for donations and assistance. Please spread the word, and again, encourage others you know to join KIN

Houma Nation Relief Needs
I have spent the last few days traveling throughout our tribal communities assessing the damages and evaluating the needs. Tribal communities suffered flooding as well as wind damage. Heard about your work at the JP Forum on Fri. I direct the MIT FEMA Trailer Project--we're looking for collaborators and would like to talk about potential intersections. I also worked in NOLA establishing a citywide soil remediation plan for the city—would be great to hear more about your work. Thanks, JRLee (jrlee@mit.edu)
